Help us Strengthen Trans-Atlantic Connections this Spring
April 3, 2025

As the world undergoes significant shifts under the new U.S. administration, we are witnessing a redefining of global alliances. The traditional bonds of trans-Atlantic friendship are being tested, and new partnerships are emerging. This changing landscape has made our mission—bringing people together from both sides of the Atlantic to address the world's most pressing issues—more crucial than ever.
We strongly believe in trans-Atlantic partnership. Our work transcends professional and personal backgrounds, uniting individuals based on shared values. It is only through these connections that we can effectively tackle global challenges and seize new opportunities.
But we urgently need your support. Your tax-deductible donation will help us continue our mission. Thanks to a generous offer from our devoted board, all gifts will be matched—dollar-for-dollar—up to $50,000, doubling the impact of your contribution.
Your gift will support:
- Our 2025 program with conversations, music, and performances, covering global topics from a trans-Atlantic perspective;
- Our commitment to keeping our events free of charge;
- Our future fellows, enabling young talents to stay in New York for a few months, establish lifelong contacts, and enrich their education and professional experience;
- Our equipment for 1014 Fifth Avenue, the soon-to-be beautifully restored townhouse with over 100 years of trans-Atlantic history.
Make a Gift Today!
If you are unable to contribute right now, we invite you to join our legacy society and consider making a gift for the future.
We have started our 2025 season by addressing critical topics such as immigration, tariffs, and the role of humanities in today's world. We have explored how artificial intelligence can help preserve family history. Our formats ranged from art exhibitions and concerts to panel discussions, salons, and virtual meetings. In the coming weeks, we will continue our popular series "Hot Topics-Cold Realities" and "Let's Talk Democracy", introduce you to German actors performing in New York, and dive into the topic of sport diplomacy to lead up to the FIFA World Cup 26.
We will continue to provide a space for ideas and look forward to sharing inspiration with you. Collectively, we can navigate the shifting political landscape and shape our future together.
Thank you for your support and for being part of our 1014 community.
